Kính gửi ban Việt ngữ đài VOA. Tôi đang học môn lịch sử Hoa Kỳ bằng tiếng Anh, tôi muốn biết những từ này nghĩa tiếng Việt như thế nào, đã tra từ điển nhưng nghĩa không rõ ràng. Vui lòng chỉ cho tôi trang web nào hoặc đài có thể liệt kê cho tôi những từ có liên quan đến US political system, ví dụ: House of Representative, Bill of right, Founding Father... Cám ơn. Tuệ.

(1) One practical source is the Wikipedia. But it is an open encyclopedia, and there is no editorial control, so use the information in it with care. There are articles written in Vietnamese. You can also Google a term you don't understand its meaning.

(2) Check this address http://www.america.gov/publications/books.history-outline.html where you can access a history book called An Outline of American History on PDF published by the US government. By the way, the terms you ask: House of Representatives=Hạ viện. Senate=Thượng Viện; Congress=Quốc hội; Founding Fathers=danh từ chỉ những nhà lập quốc, như Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, George Washington, John Adams, John Jay, James Madison, Alexander Hamilton, là những nhà lãnh tụ viết Tuyên Ngôn Ðộc Lập Hoa Kỳ (Declaration of Indepedence năm 1776) và Hiến Pháp (U.S. Constitution năm 1787); Bill of Rights = tên 10 tu chính án (amendmends) đầu nối vào Hiến Pháp Hoa Kỳ.

(3) Go to the U.S. Information Service library and ask a reference librarian for help. A good dictionary is Safire's Political Dictionary by William Safire.
